Due to its rich history, untouched and beautiful nature, Dugi otok is an attractive piece of paradise for everybody. Saharun beach is one of the island's most attractive and most recognisable feature and is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The 800m long beach is special because of the turquoise water, white sand and an open view to the open sea. A place fit for good fun. On the way to Saharun beach, in the lovely thick pine forest, you can see the 42m high lighthouse built in 1849. A summer visit to the island of Dugi otok will surely be enjoyed and remembered.
